With reference to your letter of the 30th April, Gos. No.18175/1915, transmitting a copy of a confidential

despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong on the subject

of Trade Karke registered in the names of enemy sub-

jects and firms, I am directed by the Board of Trade to

send you, herewith, for the information of Ir Bonar Law,

a copy of a report that has been made upon the matter by!!

the Comptroller of Patents, Designs and Trade Larks in

the terms of which the Board concur.

I am also to enclose, in case Kr.Bonar Law may

care to send them to Sir F.H.liay, copies of the Patents,

Designs and Trade Marks (Temporary Rules) Acts, of the

Trade Marks (Temporary) Rules, and of two forms of Trade Mark orders, one suspending and the other avoiding

the registration of a Trade mark.
